Everyone's always telling me to relax. I can't relax.

i don’t know how we made it through unsinkable plans i’ll follow you, i’ll follow you where do we go oh when we die do we become all of the black in the night sky? bodies of light bellows of sound ash in the wind dust on the ground no city lights deeper than blue follow the night even the moon has darkened too maybe we know maybe we don’t maybe we grow maybe we won’t maybe we know maybe we don’t maybe we grow maybe autonomous hands fingers that trace the time in the sand the lines on my face bodies of light bellows of sound ash in the wind dust on the ground i don’t know how (changes are everywhere) we made it through (take in the sun) when darkness abounds (walk into what you fear) i’ll follow you (into the new?) maybe we know maybe we don’t maybe we grow maybe we won’t maybe we know maybe we don’t maybe we grow maybe we won’t

Float Away 03:29
started out at the riverbed where we lay while the smoke curled overhead, there we lay filled our lungs with all the stories we’d been told to get us through the day bodies warm and laid out in the sand soaking up all the light we can lay there til the sun begins to sink under the weight of all of us and as the fire burned we saw reflections of the flames in each of us my father used to come here as a boy he sought the safety of the river, the solace of the woods my mother used to bring me as a child, and she would cradle me so tightly... as if i’d float away, as if i’d float away as if i’d float away as if i’d float away
4.
Signs 03:16
Oh we’re sitting here waiting for signs break the darkness, let in the light a little purpose, something to know a new direction, somewhere to go cos every time we feel like we’ve got it all worked out, right something comes along and turns it all up on its inside never-ending work to be done push harder to become one a little further, that’s where we’ll go gotta risk it, how will we grow cos every time we feel like we’ve got it all worked out, right something comes along and turns it all up on its inside every time every time i’m looking for signs we gotta break the cycle we gotta break the wall we gotta break the silence we gotta watch it fall cos everytime we feel like we’ve got it all worked out, right something comes along and turns it all up on its inside every time every time i’m looking for signs

Impossible things weighing on me Where is my place, where could I be? I left the winnings and took up the chase Searching for answers in a hollow space How are we living when seconds are shared? You call us connected when nobody cares The voices of many, the words of a few Searching for meaning and a little truth If we all strip it back And find out what we’re missing We can all reconnect Remember how it used to be Muscles and sweat Our bones are set Feel it connect Heavy chest Let’s press reset Whenever I falter, stumbling, weak Caught on the words that I’m too scared to speak I swallow my doubt Push it from my mouth finding the strength To let it out If we all strip it back And find out what we’re missing We can all reconnect Remember how it used to be Muscles and sweat Our bones are set Feel it connect Heavy chest Let’s press reset
6.
if one more step can get us back up on our toes why don't we run until there's no where else to go oh let's push ahead, push ourselves instead oh you're young, you can't look back until you grow i've been crawling through a dry spell learning how to get well learning how to see now i'm kicking in the glass walls learning how to stand tall learning how to speak i'll hold my own now lately i've been holding steady, i've been holding steady if i could count up all the hours that i've spent lost in worry, apprehension or regret it would become so clear that we've learned to fear the line of what was said and what was really meant i've been crawling through a dry spell learning how to get well learning how to see now i'm kicking in the glass walls learning how to stand tall learning how to speak i'll hold my own now lately i've been holding steady, i've been holding steady and all the time we spend to forgive our choices echoes all the time we need to collect our voices
7.
Wild Things 03:12
one day it dawned on me this is all we’ll ever be behind our eyes a heart beat all our cells trying to breathe we are wild things you and me we are wild things roaming free no destination no train of thought muscle memory moving us along our bodies, bone and skin no control this moment that we’re in through the times that we keep struggling and the days we’ve just let go all the hours our hearts keep pumping through the things that we don’t know we are wild things you and me we are wild things roaming free we’re exactly where we should be we are wild things you and me chorus x 2 we are wild things and we’re roaming free we are wild things you and me

This album couldn’t exist without the thoughtful contributions from the following people: Norma Wood, Robert Gaffney, Justin Mazur, 257 Films, Kieron Circuit, Ryan Wheeler, Daniel Spencer, Greg Wilson, Sergio Juarez, Kristina Burns, Ron Burns, Yvette, Dave Thomas, Philipp Thuering, Jeffrey Keibel, Michael Oakley, Jarret Ruminski/That Devil History, Alain Joseph, Stephen Wilson, Ty Smart, Matthew Myles, Matt Wolfe, and Joe Williams.

The sacred land on which this album was created has been a site of human activity for 15,000 years. This land is the territory of the Huron-Wendat and Petun First Nations, the Seneca, and most recently, the Mississaugas of the Credit River. The territory was the subject of the Dish With One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Iroquois Confederacy and the Ojibwe and allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. I am extremely grateful to those who came before me, for the land that I live and work on.
